Questions and answers
Briefly and honestly - about what you can do here, what it costs, who sees your posts and what we believe in
Getting started
What can I do here?
Read and get to know people, talk, keep a Journal, share your Dreams and develop Projects - on your own or together with others
Can I just read and chat?
Yes. A big idea and constant activity are not required. You can look around at your own pace - and write when you feel like it
Do I need to pay or get an invitation?
No. Signing up is free and open. An invitation from a friend helps you get to know people, but it isn't required. Supporting the project is voluntary and separate from taking part

Do I have to share Buddyalism?
You don't have to accept the authors' worldview. You do have to follow the principles and rules of conversation
Do you consider the singularity proven?
No. “Cultural singularity” is our own framework for understanding change, not a date for the arrival of superintelligence. You can learn and support each other without agreeing on a single forecast
Is this community against AI?
No. We don't hide from technology and believe people should know how to use it. But on the platform itself AI does not write or answer for people: there are no AI companions or characters here. The only place we use it is to help moderation, for example a hint that a comment sounds harsh. Passing off AI as a real member is not allowed
Why another place when there are familiar social networks?
It has its own ethics and design: no race for attention, support circles and rules against bullying. You don't have to leave other networks
Why do you say «civilisation against wildness»? Do you consider someone savages?
No. This is about environments and behaviour. The «us against them» mode lives in each of us and switches on from fear and uncertainty. Civilisation, as we understand it, is everything that helps people understand each other and cooperate. Wildness is everything that gets in the way of that. Everyone makes the choice themselves, and we are on the side of the former
Privacy and safety
Who can see my posts?
For every post you choose: everyone, members, your support circle, selected groups or only you - and you can change it at any time. There is no absolute protection on the internet, so we describe honestly how everything works
What if a conversation turns unpleasant?
You can choose not to reply, limit who sees your posts and report a post or comment - a moderator will review it
Can I delete my account and my posts?
Yes. Your account and all your posts can be deleted, and we don't hold anyone with algorithms or reminders. Supporting the project doesn't affect this
About the project
Who funds the project and how sustainable is it?
We do, Dima and Lena - with our own money and the voluntary support of members. There are no ads, and data is not sold. We can't guarantee it will run forever, but we talk openly about how things stand
Why “Noonland”?
It refers to the Noon Universe of the Strugatsky brothers - an image of a future where people are busy with discovery, creation and each other. You don't need to know the books
Is this a religion or a closed club?
No. It's a practical ethics, transparent rules and the freedom to leave at any time
